Good news again on JSA claimant numbers

The latest Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) claimant figures were released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Wednesday and again show a fall in numbers of claimants.  The total reduction in the county for the 16-64 age group was 163; down from 4,783 to 4,620.  There are now 36% less claimants in Warwickshire since this […]

Unemployment continues to fall

  The total number of people claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) in Warwickshire in June 2014 was 4,780, i.e. 1.4% of 16-64 year olds.  This figure is an improvement from the previous month with the number of claimants in Warwickshire falling by over 390 people and the rate decreasing by 0.1%, from 1.5% to 1.4%.
