Economic & Labour Market Research

The Observatory monitors the economic well-being of Warwickshire. We also work sub-regionally on economic research with partners at Coventry City Council, the Learning & Skills Council Coventry & Warwickshire, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and others. A selection of our reports are available to download from the links on the right-hand side of this page.

The Observatory produces an annual Quality of Life Report which, amongst other topics, covers a range of economic indicators. These include, Gross Value Added (GVA), employment and unemployment, earnings, benefit claimants, and skills.

Warwickshire County Council's Economic Development service offers a range of advice for businesses. Businesses looking to relocate to or expand in Warwickshire can obtain free advice and support from the Warwickshire Investment Partnership.
